Florea has gas problems
The mayor of Targu Mures declared the Association would have to seriously debate the energy issue, the contracts of the autonomous administrations and patrimony issues. He unleashed against the Distrigaz management, accusing them of a “dubious” attitude, specifying that the latest negotiations were effectuated by the company representatives in a suspicious position. “I ask prime-minister Tariceanu to make public all the privatization and energy strategy contracts for 2006-2007. It is not regular for certain companies with huge debts towards the state or private combines to have lower fees than household consumers.
Perhaps before calling Dan Ioan Popescu from the Prosecution to count his wife’s bags, he should first call him to the Government, to tell him why he signed the strategy. We reconsider the digging tax and pipe replacement, I request Distrigaz to make its profit quota public”, declared Florea. He also specified that he wished the normative clarification or would throw a local royalty tax which he would give the population for supporting them in paying their bills. “Shame on Distrigaz, I am not sure whether this was the initiative of the management from here or the German people”, Florea said.
The city father managed to convince Jonathan Scheele, head of the Delegation of the European Commission in Bucharest to support him in accessing external funds for a proper network. “I had talks at the political level as well, but also with Romgaz and Transgaz, as well as with the NPS (SNP) in view of examining the possibility to create a proper network”, Florea added, transmitting to Distrigaz “they should number the gas molecules they will use for burning their spouts”.
