Friesland invests 6 million

The Friesland Romania group expects a turnover of 90 million Euros this year, after having an increase of 20% in the first eight months of 2005 compared to the same period in the previous year. Ever since the Friesland group entered the Romanian market, the Dutch made modernization investments at the milk collection locations and the product lines in amount of approximately 3 million Euros annually, and these investments will increase in the following period, as an amount of 6 million Euros is allocated to the development of special projects at the Baciu and Mures factories. This year, Friesland finalized the rebranding process for Milli, one of the trademarks of the Dutch group. (B.D.)
