Arun Sarin, Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Group Plc. arrived yesterday for the first time in Bucharest, at the head office of Connex. He was pleasantly

surprised by the warmth and hospitality of Romanians, who were open and accepted the integration of the Connex operators in the Vodafone group from the beginning. Arun Sarin had meetings with the employees of the company and visited the Center for Public Relations with the Clients, as well as the head office of Connex.

Connex is the first video mobile network in Romania. Representatives of the company announced that they intend to implement a rebranding strategy targeting including the replacement of the CONNEX trademark with Vodafone, in case Vodafone wins the process it has with ZAPP in Romania. (B.D.)
