The Romanian Post externalizes

The National Romanian Post Company, whose leading shareholder is the Ministry of Communication, announced that by the end of this year it will externalize part of its activities, action through which it hopes to attract private capital and the increase of the income of the company. The contracting companies will take over part of the Post employees as well, in order to respect one of the conditions of the International Monetary Fund, which imposed a reduction of personnel by up to 10 percent. Thus, the representatives of the Post will ask the leading shareholder of the company to create new companies which provide cleaning, services, transportation of goods, cash processing, digital printing and direct marketing.
