Romexterra funds agriculture

Banca Romexterra bank received an amount of 7 million dollars from the World Bank, through the Rural Funding Project, for the allocation of long-term and medium-term loans for clients performing agricultural activities. Conditions for granting specify the fact that the petitioner must be a Romanian legal entity, with the head office in the rural or the urban area, but the activities must be typical to the rural economy. Nevertheless, small enterprises or natural persons performing economic activities in the rural area are not excluded either. The maximum threshold for the loan is one million dollars, with a grace period of maximum 12 months. (B.D)
