Satan’s children

Labeled “yeast of society”, muckworms end up being the victims of satanist precepts. Mihai Mihu, alias Catanga, became a faithful practician, and skulls and crosses burnt in the middle of the night in the graveyard are part of his satanist arsenal.

On November the 25th 2005, Elena Dancu who lives in one of the apartment buildings in the Gloria neighborhood in Medias had the unpleasant surprise to discover that the crypt where her husband was buried three months before, was broken in by unknown persons. She didn’t make a fuss about it, since the crypt seemed to be left intact, and the lock looked untouched.

Elena Dancu started having suspicions when she observed a cap that seemed to belong to a child, and she instantly thought of beggars who hide here during snapping cold autumn days. “At that time, I didn’t figure they were satanists, but I only thought of children who prefer staying in the graveyard since they don’t have any other place to go”.

Fairly reserved, Ilie Rogoz, a beggar in the Medias graveyard, discloses to the reporters of the ZIAR details about the children in the neighborhood who perform satanist rituals at night.

“I’ve known one of them, Mihai Mihu, alias Catanga, for about two years, because once I had a fight with him at the Orthodox church near the railway station bridge, where he was on my territory. I knew he was an orphan child who hides in the graveyard at night. At the end of November, while I was taking my refuge in the graveyard too, I saw Catanga near a crypt setting two or three wooden crosses on fire. Those were not the crosses from the graveyard, since they were smaller than those, along with two othe? children who were hiding there, they brought them with themselves. The next morning, I also saw blood marks near the place they had the fire. I got scared, I thought it was their blood. Farther on, near another cross, I saw some hen feather, and I figured they were trying to fill their stomachs, so they sacrificed it”.

Known by church personnel

Priest Dragnea is known as a man who tolerates muckworms, especially during the religious services. Therefore, when mentioning Miu Catanga, the priest made the sign of the cross and started to tell us things. “I’ve known Miu for about two years, since he started to beg for money during religious services, funerals or mementos. I pitied him since I knew he had no parents and that’s why I allowed him to come into my church. I even rebuked him two or three times for coming in shabby and smelling clothes. But ?hat disturbed me was that he had a jacket with Dracula’s face and a dagger printed on it, and had necklaces with skeletons and skulls, which horrified me. Several believers told me many times to throw him out, since he was dishonoring our religious precepts. I quarreled with him twice and he answered me arrogantly when I told him I didn’t want to see him again in the church wearing devilish clothes and signs the church rejects – I am telling this with strong conviction. I know he is part of a three-four me?ber group of 14-16 year old youngsters and when he’s not begging at the church, he is seeking for alms in the graveyard at funerals”.

Catanga, bundled off by everyone

The same investigations effectuated by the reporters of the Ziar revealed significant data regarding Mihai Miu, alias Catanga’s past. Thus, it was found out he was abandoned by his parents when he was ten and went through several orphanages and shelters in the county, where he ended up being famed for his rebellious nature. Somewhere in 1998, he was “hosted” for approximately six months in the Nedelea Children’s Shelter in Brasov county – a true detention home – where children with the most severe infracti?ns are sheltered. After leaving the “penitentiary”, he arrived at Medias, where he hoped he would be received with open arms by one of his aunts, his mother’s sister. She was scared of by his rebellious character and after keeping him for about two weeks and noticed no school in Medias would take him, she drove him away.
